The viewers are placed in front of a reflecting surface that is nearly completely wrapped in black foil. This process of blurring the boundary between subject and subjectivity implicates the loss of vision, leaving a slight spot of clear reflection whereas the black foiled mirror in its entirety reflects traces of their fragmented reflection.
